Fr. Mike began ministry as a Baptist pastor for six years before entering The Episcopal Church in 1987 at St. Martin's in Houston. Serving as Deacon and Assistant Priest there until 1994, he became Rector of St. Christopher's, also in Houston, for eleven years. Following service in St. Louis, Missouri, Fr. Mike and his wife Robin returned to Texas to live in Hunt in 2014. Now at St. Peter's, he serves as Assistant Priest to the Rector in the ministry of pastoral care.
Fr. Mike and Robin share four grown children and three grandchildren. Together and individually, they enjoy family, friends new and old, hiking, travel, gardening, cooking, reading, yoga, church life and civic opportunities. Life in the beautiful Texas Hill Country provides the "awe factor" in their new lives here, filling them with gratitude and solace every day: God is Good here!

Brian is a native Texan who grew up in Southwest Houston where he met and married his high school sweetheart Abby. After three years at Texas A&M, he moved to the Rocky Mountains and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Colorado in 2008 with a BA in Communications. While in school, Brian was introduced to the world of youth ministry as a Young Life leader and discovered that his passion for students could collide with the grace he found in knowing Christ.
Brian has spent the last 12 years in full-time ministry working with children, youth and young adults. Several of those years were spent as the Director of Christian Formation at Christ Episcopal Church in Nacogdoches and the Campus Missioner for the Canterbury House at Stephen F. Austin University. Most recently, he worked in the mountains as the Executive Director of Summit County Youth in Breckenridge, CO.
Brian is married to his beautiful bride, Abby, and they have 4 kids, Bella (7), Madison (5), Caleb (3), and Grace (1). When not hanging out with teenagers, you will find him riding bikes, paddling the river or camping out of old 4wd trucks in the middle of nowhere. Ginny has two daughters and one empty nest! Her older daughter, Emily, is a NICU nurse at The Women’s Hospital of Texas in Houston. Anna recently completed her studies at TAMU in College Station, having studied Urban Development. Although Ginny had visited this area all of her life, she was raised in Brownwood, Texas, and studied art and business at Howard Payne University. After college, Ginny joined her parents in Mountain Home, where her great-grand parents (Estes) settled almost 100 years ago. The next five generations still make their homes right there on Johnson Creek.
Ginny's background here in Kerrville has revolved around trust banking and bookkeeping, with numerous years of teaching interspersed to keep things interesting. When she's not working, Ginny enjoys getting outside, reading, painting, and other messy creative endeavors.

I have been affiliated with St. Peter's School since 1998. Back then, both of my daughters attended and I helped as a room mother and parent association volunteer. As an educator, I recognized that this school was an exceptional early childhood learning center offering small class sizes, NAEYC accreditation, a Christian environment, fun schoolwide traditions, tremendous family support and a long history of caring educators. The school continues to serve as an outreach into our community through its Scholarship Program. We are proud that we can offer financial support to children that might not otherwise attend a quality program. This plays an important role in young students' lives and lays an excellent foundation for their future.
Before working at St. Peter's, my background was as a Bank Manager/Assistant Vice President of Bank One, Texas. I came to this job with a substantial background in business management, staff development and leadership. I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with my degree in Education. I also serve as an instructor for Alamo Colleges, teaching their Child Development Associates Course. Being a part of Alamo Colleges helps our school stay on top of the latest trends in our field and apply them in our classrooms. My personal teaching philosophy is every child has gifts and talents and as early childhood educators, we are in a unique position to help them have a positive experience and a "Best Beginning" to their education. Establishing a support structure between staff, families, administrators, Church and community helps to maximize the quality of our program. Ultimately, that solid partnership will provide the foundation needed to contribute to all of our young students' future successes in school and life.
